Founder and executive director of Run-Bangla International LLC, (RBI) an online running community site serving to connect Bangladesh running enthusiasts nationally and internationally; introduce international sanctioning standards for distance road races throughout Bangladesh; promote internationally accepted best practices for race organizers; and also serve as an aggregator of all running races within the country on a centralized calendar.
Jon grew up in England, France, Greece and Spain before returning to the United States, eventually completing his studies with a degree in Architecture.
He has participated in over 100 organized distance races throughout the world including several marathons and remains a committed runner. He brings to RBI an association with AIMS, a leading internationally esteemed sanctioning organization for distance races worldwide. Jon also serves as Director for the Run-Bangla-CCCL International 10K Hatirjheel, Dhaka; which will proudly become the first internationally sanctioned AIMS-IAAF distance running event in Bangladesh on March 13th, 2020.
Rajib was recently recognized and honored by being selected in 2023 as the AIMS Ambassador to Bangladesh, one of only five such ambassadorships in the world.
Rajib is a passionate Marathon and Ultra-Marathon runner who has represented Bangladesh in many international races including TMBT Malaysia 2019 Ultra Trail Marathon; Nepal Stupa to Stupa Ultra Trail Marathon 2018; Tata Mumbai Marathon 2019/2020; Ladakh Marathon 2019, among many others domestically as well. As a longtime active member BDRunners, Rajib has been very involved with the growth on Bangladesh running, including the creation of several domestic races since 2017.
In 2020 Rajib became the race director for the first ever AIMS certified race in Bangladesh, CCCL-RUNBANGLA International 10K, soon after assuming the position at RBI as Director of Races. Rajib’s strengths, founded on his passion for running, are the creation and promotion of races and inclusively connecting these events to all runners, local charities and the expanding running community.
Paolo brings an expertise in Branding and Advertising and a strong background in event creation and promotion. Paolo has been a pivotal Run-Bangla International LLC (RBI) partner and co-founder since its early inception in 2017. Paolo’s skill set is founded on his strong design background as an architect in New York City since 1988. He has designed and promoted products and events for several Fortune 500 companies.
In addition Paolo has a lifelong passion for athletics including running and football and has coached elite children’s running teams in the United States. Paolo also serves as a Director for the Run-Bangla-CCCL International 10K Hatirjheel, Dhaka.
One of the pivotal agents of change in the marketing industry of Bangladesh. Mehedi has been a key Run-Bangla International LLC (RBI) partner since its creation in early 2019. Currently, he is the Country Director & Managing Partner of World Marketing Community in Bangladesh.
Mehedi completed his degree in Applied Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering from the University
of Dhaka, followed by his Master’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Mehedi additionally brings his business acumen and organizational strengths to RBI. Mehedi has been involved in athletics throughout his life and is a recent and dedicated convert to distance running. Mehedi also serves as a Director for the Run-Bangla-CCCL International 10K Hatirjheel, Dhaka.
Partho Saha is a renowned endurance athlete and fitness instructor, celebrated for his remarkable achievements in challenging and adventurous international events. He has successfully completed numerous high-altitude competitions, showcasing his extraordinary physical and mental resilience.
With an unyielding passion for surpassing limits and embracing challenges, Partho has participated in a wide range of events, earning recognition and respect on the global stage.
As a fitness instructor, Partho leverages his knowledge and experience to inspire others to lead healthier and more active lives. His dedication to endurance sports and personal growth has made him a role model for aspiring athletes.

Josepha Elizabeth is a doctor and public health professional at icddr,b. Though she started running only a few years ago and still considers herself an amateur in the world of running, she brought enormous heart and enthusiasm quickly gaining the recognition and respect of the running community. She has since participated in many running events and still continues despite some physical limitations; primarily because she believes running has the ability to spread positive energy.
Josepha’s moto is, “Neither pace, speed or timing ultimately maters. The only thing that maters is to keep moving forward. The first-place winner along with the last place finisher travel the same distance.”
Saimun Nur is a passionate visual artist and freelance graphic designer with significant experience contributing to various sports events through his creative design expertise. Beyond his work in digital artistry, Saimun is a dedicated tech enthusiast who enjoys exploring advancements in technology.
As an avid cyclist, Saimun takes pride in being a bicycle traveler, having explored diverse landscapes across the country on his two wheels. His love for endurance sports extends to running, where he has participated in numerous marathons. While he humbly considers himself a beginner in the running community, his commitment to self-improvement is unwavering.
Guided by his personal motto, “Keep going, always!” Saimun believes that progress, no matter how slow, is better than standing still—a philosophy that fuels his journey both professionally and personally.
Noshin Sharmili is a fearless ultra runner and multi-sport athlete whose fitness journey began in 2021; not just as a physical transformation, but as a declaration of independence from medicine and limitation. She chose movement, strength, and mental resilience as her tools for healing, growth, and empowerment. Since 2022, she has passionately pursued running and committed herself to building endurance and discipline.
In 2023, Noshin boldly stepped into the world of high-altitude racing, taking on extreme challenges that few dare to face. By 2024, she had successfully completed back-to-back high-altitude races, symbolizing the unwavering spirit of Bangladeshi women on the international stage. Her performances go beyond personal achievement; they stand as a testament to what determined women from her country can accomplish.
Noshin’s athletic journey also includes training in Taekwondo, a discipline she embraced to learn self-defense and build confidence. Her love for adventure has taken her across Bangladesh, where she has hiked and rappelled through diverse terrains, developing both physical endurance and mental toughness.
Creative, curious, and quality-driven, Noshin thrives on challenges and constant growth. She is an outspoken advocate for human health, especially focusing on the wellbeing of children, mothers, and women of all ages. She firmly believes that a society can only truly grow when women are ensured proper food, nutrition, safety, mental and physical wellbeing, and education.
